Todd grew up in Land O' Lakes, Florida, a small town just north of Tampa and no, it's not where they make the butter. It was a great place to be a
boy with hundreds of acres of woods, swamps, and orange groves for a young boy to find adventure.
You could call his upbringing modest but that would be sugar coating the word poor. Todd's house had no indoor plumbing or air conditioning,
perhaps that is why he prefers the cold now. So where did we go to the bathroom? An outhouse of course. Yes we had an outhouse in the 70's
and 80's. Once I hit high school I was a bit self conscious about it but all of my buddies loved the fact that you could just walk outside and go.
So how did Todd escape poverty? Conservative values, hard work, and yes a little help from people along the way. Life rewards effort.
